Island Fruit Smoothie

A vacation in a glass, this fruit smoothie is a delicious source of potassium, folate, and vitamins C and B6. Because the body quickly converts bananas into energy, this is a great pre- or post-exercise drink.


  • 1 orange, skin removed
  • 1 banana, peel removed
  • ½ cantaloupe, rind removed


  1. Cut into small pieces.
  2. Put orange and cantaloupe in juicer; puree banana in blender and mix with juice.
  3. Serve.
